Dr. Stroud was raised in West Knoxville and attended Farragut Public Schools. Much of his time growing up was spent in competitive sports, especially swimming. By the time he was in 7th grade his desire was to someday become a dentist. "Dentistry was fascinating to me because of the gratification of working with each patient individually to help them achieve the outcome they desire."
Education
Dr. Stroud earned his bachelor's degree from UT-Knoxville in 1998, and graduated in 2002 from dental school at UT-Memphis. He is a graduate of the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dentistry (LVI) where he received extensive cosmetic training. His education at the American Academy of Sleep Dentistry provided training in sleep apnea therapy and snoreguard design.
Hobbies & Interests
Dr. Stroud enjoys regularly getting together with several friends for Bible study. His hobbies include kayaking, boating, wakeboarding, water and snow skiing, snowmobiling, and bicycling. He appreciates spending time with family, especially his nephews.
