Dr. Britton grew up in Madisonville, Tennessee, the youngest of three boys. From an early age he has been active in sports, including football, soccer, baseball, and basketball. He continued his soccer career at Hiwassee College, then later transferred to The University of Memphis. During his freshman year in college Dr. Britton had orthognathic (jaw) surgery. This extensive surgery resulted in a close relationship with orthodontist Dr. Mickey Crowell from Sweetwater. As an undergraduate he was fortunate to work for Dr. Crowell, and this experience eventually led him to dental school.

Education
After receiving his undergraduate degree, he attended and graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center. He has also received extensive post-doctoral training at The Scottsdale Center for Dentistry with Dr. Cliff Ruddle in the field of endodontics, including the use of a dental microscope during all root canals. He also received extensive cosmetic training at the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dentistry (LVI).

Family
Dr. Britton and his wife, Summer, have one boy and two girls: Jack, Cooper, and Colette. They really enjoy spending time together as a family and look forward to teaching and coaching sports in the very near future.

Hobbies & Interests
Dr. Britton is a HUGE Tennessee Vol fan, and he keeps the entire Cornerstone office informed and updated, especially on Tennessee football, basketball, and the latest recruiting news. He continues playing soccer in local adult leagues and with friends during the weekends. He also loves trout fishing on the Tellico River.

Professional Focus
Treating families with children, and building lasting relationships. He also dedicates much of his time to practicing endodontics.

On Cornerstone
"I love the close relationships we build at Cornerstone and the opportunity to make people laugh.”

(Note: Dr. Britton is definitely the most "witty" person at Cornerstone. When you hear laughter, you know he's up to his games again!)
