Dr. Kinder was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. At age 13, his interest in dentistry was sparked through his many visits to the orthodontist, and he made an early decision to pursue that dream. After serving in the U.S. Army for four years, he completed his undergraduate degree at the University of California, Davis, where he went on to work as a research associate in the Department of Physiology.
Dr. Kinder received his Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree in 1982 from Washington University in St. Louis. He has completed extensive advanced training across many areas of general dentistry — including orthodontics, anxiety-free dentistry, cosmetics, endodontics, and implant dentistry. He has a passion for teaching and is a lifelong student of dentistry.
